We visit the Postal Museum, where we discover the story of Britain’s first ‘social network’ - THE POST! Mail Rail, the 100-year old subterranean ride will have its annual festive makeover. From wartime wives wishing husbands a Merry Christmas from afar, to the broadcast of the first King’s Speech on the BBC, the immersive projections and audio will get you in the festive spirit.
The first ever Christmas card will be back on display along with our heart warming collection of letters to Father Christmas.
Did you know.... A children’s drawing competition produced the first Christmas stamps.
In the afternoon, we head to experience the magic of Christmas in London with a visit to Covent Garden.
Christmas in Covent Garden is unlike anything you have ever experienced. Whether it's your first time or fiftieth time, Covent Garden is here to fill you with delight, wonder and joy this Christmas.
Visit their iconic Market Building and uncover their famous markets for handmade or antique stocking fillers, and shop big name brands in their globally famous shopping destination.
Wander through the heart of Covent Garden as it transforms into a dazzling winter wonderland. The radiant glow of the lights creates a magical atmosphere, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the festive spirit.

AVAILABILITY: There are a limited number of places available, which are allocated on a 'first come first served basis'. Our day trips are organised on the basis that a minimum number of persons will travel. If we receive insufficient bookings then we may cancel the trip in which case we will notify you 7 days before departure.

Payment will be taken utilising Paypal but don't forget that you DO NOT NEED a Paypal account, nor do you need to open one to make a payment.
