Corsham

ADULT/SENIOR £27   CHILD £16 - LONG DAY (south)

Quintessentially English - historic buildings and acres of beautiful countryside on the doorstep.Slightly exotic, flamboyant, and loud, peacocks regally wander the streets. And a starring role as an historic Cornish town - Ross Poldark brooded his way around here for the hit BBC series... The Wiltshire market town of Corsham is something of a hidden treasure.

Corsham has a great range of award-winning independent shops offering everything from collectible comics to vintage wares, locally made edible treats to eclectic and unique gifts.

Why not come and discover Corsham for yourself.

Bradford Upon Avon

We then visit.......

Bradford-on-Avon, which is a very rare combination of river, canal and architecture of true character – from tiny weaver’s cottages and ancient alleyways to grand clothiers’ houses and public buildings.

Stroll through the town and walk through time, in the footsteps of the Romans, Saxons, Normans, Georgians and Victorians. Winding through it all is the River Avon, with the ancient bridge in the centre of the town remaining a natural focus, still with two of its original thirteenth-century arches.

The Shambles, home today of many independent shops, is full of old charm, and connects Market and Silver Street, on the site of the medieval market stalls and features several old buildings including one of the only timber-framed buildings in Bradford on Avon, many of the others dates in part to 15th century.
