Weymouth

ADULT/SENIOR £27   CHILD £16 - LONG DAY (south)

Weymouth Bay has often been described as England’s Bay of Naples. It has something to offer everyone with golden sands, safe bathing and beautiful coastline scenery. The town was originally a fishing village but, in the 17th century it began to be developed as a tourist destination. King George III visited Weymouth regularly, and this resulted in the town becoming a fashionable holiday resort. Don’t forget to say a big ‘hello’ to the award winning donkeys at the Pavillion end of the beach!

Did you know....  The Town bridge opens regularly throughout each day and is an attraction in itself. Rebuilt in 1929, it was opened first in 1930. The ‘Great’ plague or ‘The Black Death’ as it popularly called, was brought ashore from a sailing vessel docking in Weymouth harbour on 25 June 1348
